CHAPTER 2
iN 1999, Ross and Arnette's oldest son, Greg Johnson, took on the family business, and ran with it with the help of his good wife Angel. Being slightly younger and a little more limber, Greg and Angel took an already great thing, and ran with it to make it even better.
They worked to push the envelope of clogging from traditional country western style, to include hip-hop, and other high energy styles. This provided for very competitive dances, and challenging footwork. They had great vision and a sense of passion, obviously inherited from mom and dad Johnson, to make clogging challenging, fun, and something to respect. They've had a wonderful ability to connect with their cloggers, and keep everyone feeling like clogging is fulfilling.
Retaining its awesome reputation, Greg and Angel changed the name of Treasure Valley Cloggers, to Idaho Rhythm Dance Company in 2004. As life happens and unexpected changes take place, Greg and Angel found that after nearly 10 years of amazing clogging instruction, it was time to move on...
